finally found that cable
And these picture are so not worth the wait - if you're looking at them for a purely artistic, composition-tastic point of view.
IMAGE 1: Colton is waaaaaay in the back row, towards the right, playing trumpet. Great shot, huh?

IMAGE 2: A closer-up shot of the singing part. (One of the kids who's been a total jerk/bully to Colton is also in this shot - but I won't point him out as I'm not one of "those mothers." At least not yet.)

IMAGE 3: Ab and her 2nd grade friends spent most of the 2 hours giggling, moving about on the bleachers, and asking to go out in the hall to get a drink of water.

IMAGE 4: Little E spent the entire time playing his DS - this was allowed only because his 1st grade class had watched the entire concert during the school day, and he'd seen it all anyhow. I couldn't make him pay attention to all that again.
I know this is shitty parenting, taking the easy way out, etc. All I can say is thank the good Lord for handheld video games - and my continued ability to acquire them without going into massive debt.

I would never!
Seriously, you guys. Maybe I should take that picture down. I don't want anybody to think I'm fingering a kid online. I'll get thrown in jail. And I don't have many coping mechanisms for that sort of thing!
