the Black Hills went by so fast

As evidenced by this shot from the Freestyle on the Needles Highway.

This guy took way better pictures than me. But in my defense, my card went out in the digital camera, so wherever I went I could only take 5 photos before downloading to the Macbook. What a pain in my ample ass!

It was much like the Seinfeld Spongeworthy episode ... except without all the sexual references, etc.

This was another shot from the car on the Needles drive. I was holding the camera out the window above the roof. Tim was yelling, "Don't drop it! Don't drop it!" Man. As if I've ever done something that stupid before. (Har.) I think it turned out pretty good for no me actually looking at what was being shot. (Note to Work Self: This might be a good lesson for micromanaging creative projects.)

A very hot buffalo in Wind Cave National Park. It was like 98 degrees that day. This was literally shot from my window, as well. No zoom. He couldn't have cared less. I often feel this way, and totally identified with him. You can call this "Hot Buffalo Bonding."

Here are TIm and the kids checking out more buffalo... Love Little E. He's all "Go west, young man!"

Incredibly inappropriate non-politically correct pose in front of teepees at Mt. Rushmore monument. I swear I didn't tell them to make the "how" gesture. They just did it. However, Tim and I discussed how I"m at fault for actually taking the picture.

ME: "That's so wrong!" [CLICK] TIM: "Seriously?"

Abbey and Eric taunt the reticulated python at Reptile Gardens. It's so much easier when they can't get at you, huh? This also reminds me of work.

The whole family with the 137-year old tortoise. He/she was pretty amped up to meet us, I'm sure.
