Kid activity update

Colton and Tim will be backpacking The Bighorns with the scouts this summer, so this weekend was the first "come with a pack and see if you can hack it" camping weekend.

I came home to help him get ready on Friday, and he literally almost fell over backwards when he put this thing on...

Last week was Eric's 2nd grade play ... "Dinomotion" ... in which he had the unfortunate luck to be cast as a Brachiosaurus. So cute, though!

Last weekend was Pinewood Derby for Eric. Here he is helping buff the axles...

And here is the car and participation trophy at the Derby - where his car had a wreck on the first run, suffered a bent axle, and still won 4th place. But don't try to tell him 4th place is still good Trust me on this.

Abbey and I were so bored at one point, we took pictures of ourselves as Severed Heads.
