As you can about imagine, none of us (work, kids, me) gets served well when the crazy piles up.

Also been thinking a lot about my brother, who's 31st birthday would have been last Sunday, and a dear friend who's battling severe depression. I wish so badly I could see him again, and help her get what she needs.

And what's this about Kate Gosselin ditching the reverse mullet for hair extensions and Dancing With the Stars? She looks great, by the way.

If anyone else out there needs a dose of calm (like me) and can't afford spa time (like me) or a sunny, relaxing vacation (like me) - and instead has meth busts in their area of town (like me) and ice dams on the freaking roof (like me) and a recurring eye twitch (like me) ...
