Ab eating roasted almonds at Jazzfest last weekend...

Making like The Big Lebowski with my boys this afternoon ... (BEFORE had to ground both Eric and Abbey for poor sportsmanship - they were stomping, screaming, yelling, crying, etc. Who knows where they get this from? Thank god they put the bumpers in or we may be experiencing nuclear winter.)

Abbey took this photo of me and Eric on the blanket at Jazzfest last weekend... Betty Levette was playing and she was awesome.

Last week we had two wild turkeys in the back yard ... (Tim said: "I'm gettin' hungry!")

We also had a duck couple last Thursday morning ... and this morning at 7am I went in the boys' room to make the beds - and here's a mama duck staring at me through their garden window.

So they're back. They hung around until about 10am. (I said: "Maybe they'll make a nest back there!" Tim said: "Not if I let the cat out.")

Well, yeah. We're old. We love watching wildlife now. What's next? Canasta?

These days, I'm spending way too much time at my Twitter feed ... and therefore the blog, she is a' suffering.

Who knows if this is good or bad? I already coined (pioneered?) the discussion group "#tightassheaven" on Twitter ... so my contributions will certainly not go unnoticed.
