Well apparently she's as stubborn as her mother2nd antibiotic not working - so now she's getting the super-secret-nuclear-shock-n-awe antibiotics. Hope to go home from hospital tomorrow. More soon... UPDATE TUESDAY 9/22: She's feeling much better and doc says we'll probably go home today. Hooray! So glad it wasn't worse.

help me be less foggyA: Here is a picture of my kids at swimming lessons last Tuesday, and my camera lens was fogging over ... (That's not the part I need help with.)
B: The boys have been wearing the same trunks for over 3 years now. They still fit, but they're getting pretty ratty. Should I buy new? For purely cosmetic reasons? In a recession? Knowing that TIm loves to bring out the Dave Ramsey Stick when I want to buy stuff we actually need? (Why are they so skinny - if they just GREW OUT OF STUFF I would not have this moral dilemma.) C: Help me out with another foggy question... Was going to see my 93-year old grandma on Sunday, but mom emailed a few days ago to say she is getting over the flu and I shouldn't visit after all. But I hardly every get a free weekend. And she's 93. And what if she dies? And I really want to at least see her for 5 minutes and I'd totally leave after just giving her a hug? Should I stay home? Or impose myself? UPDATE FEB 9: I went and it was so good to see her. Also, she'd like me to remind you she's 94, not 93. |
